W.E.L.L. Women’s Group
W.E.L.L. stands for Women Enjoying Living Life and that is our aim.
The group started out as an anxiety focused group, but we have now morphed into a general mental health group.
Have you been looking for a group of like-minded women to be together with as we all navigate life? Women recognized that by supporting one another, we gain both strength and support for ourselves. Join us in a safe and judgment-free environment where you can re-discover your own voice as you give and receive support for the many issues that we struggle with as women: Self-esteem, identity, relationships, work/life balance, family, healthy, and so much more..
The group meets every Tuesday night from 6:30-8pm. We do this in a hybrid manner, meaning some come into the office and some join virtually. It isn’t a perfect system but it seems to meet people’s needs.
Each group is $35, and we ask that people commit to 8 weeks of the group to help build some consistency.
We cover a variety of topics in the group. The last few topics have included how to cultivate joy, self-defeating beliefs, and stress management.
The group has been going since August of 2018. Some of the group members have been in the group that long, and some have joined midway and even more recently.
